MVMS - Congratulations to our MVMS Chess Tournament Winners! Drake Westphal: 8th Grade Champion and MVMS Chess Champion, Lucas Nguyen: 7th Grade Champion, Chase Mitchell: 6th Grade Champion, and Micah Otudor: 5th Grade Champion. These students were the top 4 out of 113 participants in the tournament. Great job, everyone!
MVMS - Today the grade level championship games in the MVMS Chess Tournament were held. Congratulations to our grade level Chess Champions. 5th Grade - Micah Otudor, 6th Grade - Chase Mitchell, 7th Grade - Lucas Nguyen, and 8th Grade - Drake Westphal. Monday, Feb. 12, will be an incentive day for students who took the NWEA tests for Reading, Math, and Language and who either met the benchmark level or showed growth in specific areas. Notes are going home with students indicating whether your child has earned the incentive day, meaning they can stay home that day, or whether they will need to attend school that day.

MVMS - This week the MVMS Chess Tournament began in the library. Students are competing for a class winner. They will then move to compete for a grade level winner. Grade level winners will compete to crown the school champion. Good luck everyone!
