MVMS OPEN HOUSE!!! We are so excited to welcome students and parents back into our building. It's going to be a great year in Middle School!

MVMS District Professional Development Day at Mountain View School District! We were privileged to listen to guest speaker Paul Vitale. It is always inspiring to see everyone from all 3 campuses gathered in one room networking and preparing for a fantastic school year. We have a great school district and we are blessed to have the support of our community. Special thank you to Simmons Bank and Centennial Bank for providing breakfast and lunch for everyone.

MVMS We are excited to have Mrs. Leslie Lantrip join our staff. Mrs. Lantrip has twenty years teaching experience, and a Master’s degree in Gifted and Talented from ASU. Seven years of her career was spent teaching 8th grade English for Marion Arkansas School District. Most recently, she served as the Learning Loss teacher for Mountain View Elementary. She is excited to be joining the Mountain View Middle school team as she returns to her English roots to teach 8th grade English.

MVMS Stephanie Lawrence is a Mountain View graduate and earned her undergraduate and two graduate degrees from the University of Central Arkansas. Her career began as an elementary and a gifted and talented teacher. Following her passion for learning, reading, and technology, she became a library media specialist where she has spent most of her career. She is excited to be part of the MVMS team as the library media specialist and to be a Yellowjacket again. Welcome to Middle School!

MVMS Welcome to MVMS Mr. Alex Beach! Mr. Beach is a 2015 graduate of MVHS. He attended Arkansas Tech University and he is currently working on his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Arkansas State University. Mr. Beach will be teaching 8th Grade Science. Welcome to our staff!

MVMS We are so happy to welcome Samantha Bonds back to MVSD! Ms. Bonds was the high school secretary for 5 years. Her daughter graduated from MVSD and she has a grandson that will soon be a Yellow Jacket. Welcome back! It's going to be a great year at MVMS!

MVSD: We are stuffing the bus with school supplies today for all MVSD Schools! We’ll be at Walmart today for tax free day!

MVMS Mountain View Middle School would like to extend a special "thank you " to these young men for their dedication and hard work this summer. They have worked hard to get our building ready for students, teachers, and parents.

MVMS New Student Registration for MVMS will be August 2nd and 3rd from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Please bring birth certificate, social security card, and current immunization records. We look forward to seeing you in the Middle School!!

MVMS Welcome 5th Grade Students! Tuesday, August 9th 6:00 to 8:00 PM MVMS will have a special Open House for 5th grade students and parents ONLY. We will have our regular Open House night for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades on Thursday, August 11.

MVMS SCHOOL SUPPLY UPDATE 2022-2023: We are happy to announce that Mountain View Middle School will be providing students with most of the school supplies they will need to begin the upcoming school year! Paper, notebooks, pencils, pens, erasers, etc. will be provided by MVMS. Refer to the short list below for items that will not be provided by MVMS. 5th - 8th grade students will need to provide their own backpack and earbuds (earbuds available in the MVMS Library for $1). Students are also required to provide their own 1-inch 3-Ring Binder(s). See below to determine the number of binders and extra supplies needed to start the year. 5th Grade Students: 1 Binder, 1 Pencil Pouch; 6th Grade Students: 1 Binder, 1 Pencil Pouch, Colored Pencils, Sticky Notes; 7th Grade Students: 2 Binders, Colored Pencils; 8th Grade Students: 3 Binders, Colored Pencils

MVMS...7th Grade throwing it back to the Sandlot...I'm sure legends were made!!! Sandlot movie at Stream & a serious game of kickball at the ballpark for their field trip.
